the erics would like to give a big shout out to everyone who was involved in last sats FROCK OF THE NORTH gig organised and run by the ROCK OF THE NORTH

. it was a free all day do with six of the regions best female fronted rock bands playing (FOR NOWT!) to raise cash for the everyman cancer charity and the breakthrough breast cancer charity

.

congrats to all of the bands - MOTUS , HARD TO HANDLE , RESURGENCE , CHANTEL McGREGOR , ANGEL OF SIN and HALLOWED

.

two grand was raised on the day with more coming in all the time

.

as i said, it was run by the ROCK OF THE NORTH which is an independent website run by a great bloke called steve lally (hope your feeling a bit better spud) who does it all in his spare time, and it has gathered its own not so little community among yorkshires, and beyond, ever growing rock covers circuit

,

with a great giglist, comments page and great links to venues and bands, its no wonder its had over 200,000 hits

.

and speaking of the lally clan, we are playing at the lion castleford this sun 9th march to celebrate jo pastramis (mr lally juniors) 21st barfday

.

everyone is more than welcome to get on over and get in the party mood

.

there should also be quite a few peeps from other bands shaking their funky thang

.

we will also be donating the bucket collection from the gig to the FROCK OF THE NORTH

.
