just a quickie to say that sat night saw us play at the cross keys morley as part of their first big music charity event ever

from the pub and all the staff to jpt soundservices who supplied the pa gear and soundguys for the day (cheers to tony, jonny and pete), to the bands who all turned up and played for nowt to mav and bev for everything to JD jay for the humping (ooer) to the punters who turned out in force and kept the beer flowing, the dance floor full and the charidee buckets overflowing

heres what our very own SAM had to say about the chosen charity before the gig

The place to be on Saturday is the Cross Keys in Morley! Bands on all day from 3, and for a great cause, Martin House Childrens hospice, a place where our grand daughter frequents fairly regularly to give her a holiday and her mum some respite. Meg is paralysed from the neck down meaning she breathes on a machine and needs 24 hour care (though she still goes to school!) and faces many problems ahead, but she is the most cheerful, talkative, intelligent little 6 year old ever! So make your way to the Keys in Morley on Sturday if you can, Martin House is awesome, and is run purely on charitable donations, so every penny is appreciated by them

To EVERYONE involved in the "keys knees" rock fest (too many names to mention but you all know who you are). An absolutely humungous THANK YOU for making this such a mind blowing charity event. Thanks for all the great comments today. After a final count the grand total is a FANTASTIC£1500.00 which will be presented to Martin House as soon as possible.Once again from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU Howard & Lynn
