The whole evening surpassed all expectations. On a night of huge generosity, electric atmosphere, blown fuses and emotion, everyone involved united to make a real difference.

As we didn't get chance on the night, we will hopefully be able to chat to most of you over the next few gigs. We are having a couple of weeks off now after playing both the Cross keys and the Crimea (Castleford) within a few hours of each other!.

We are hoping to get the local press involved in a cheque handing over ceremony at the Cross Keys in early July, so watch out for that. We will of course keep you all updated on Meg's progress and will give details of future fundraisers through this site. Once again thanks to all - you really are heroes.

p.s. Please support the new landlord and landlady @ The Cross Keys as they are lovely people and really want to make a go of what is their first pub. Call in for a pint and have a chat or go see a band on a saturday night.
