i know that the erics are having a (nother) rest before the three horseshoes gig in headingley on sunday 12th aug at 8pm

but thats no reason to sit in front of the TV with a bargain bucket, a sticky toffee cheesecake and a crate of stella

why not get out and support some of the local live venues and bands

take this fri the 3rd,
it sees erics buds the BARE ESSENTIALS at the LION CAS , if you don't know the band, they're quite a lot like us as they've also got a big bald bloke playing geetar for them
.
(in the rather sexy shape of les)

plus the other guy on geetar ex eric phil (theres a clue in the name) has something very familiar about him too
.
on sat the 4th it is our very own drummer paul 'THE GOBs' barfday
.(38 and he dosent look a day over the hill)
.the picture below shows him helping out with the care in the community project in armley
.
sat also sees THE REAMS play the CROSS KEYS MORLEY , these guys also have links with the erics as one of them is big and bald
.
plus they do come to see us a lot
.(hoping to get to see them sat)

and if that was'nt enough, on sunday 5th our very own sam 'THE KNOB' hirst will be playing with MOJO down at the Duck & Drake leeds
