HOW OLD??
,
sat 4th aug saw the erics back up at the CROSS KEYS MORLEY, we had a blinder of a night there last week when we played to a (sweaty) full house
.
but this time it was a different kettle of monkeys, this time it was personal
.
i know its a hard concept for some people to grasp, but the erics weren't actually created in some big rock n roll laboratory, using all the best bits from musics wild and varied past, jimmy hendrix's fingers, john bonhams moby dick and right said freds fashion sense
.
no these rock gods were actually born of mere mortals!!!!

and last night we said happy birthday to the old man of the band paul
.
pauls birth is well documented (check out the old testament) a man born with a mission, a mission to knock the fook out of his drums and talk constant bollox, whilst at the same time getting falling down drunk on two and a half pints of Guinness (or speciality lager)

this man was born to be a ROCK GOD

and the night was topped off to a tee with THE REAMS

first time i've seen these lads, and will be getting to see them more, and they were great
,
very refreshing to hear totally different stuff to the norm with stuff like neil young, crowded house (no, not that one) and travis
