NEW NEWS ON THE LION

dave has spoken to Keith (ex of the mill house)

who is the new landlord at the LION

he is continuing bands and our gig

on SAT 29 OCT is still on

also on is LIONFEST on SUN 28 AUG

this is an all day do from dinner/early afty till 10ish

and will feature plenty of bands

with us playing 8-30pm

so stick it in your little black books

(all money raised to go to the yorkshire air ambulance)

The Churwell Football bash was a great gig and we really enjoyed the night. I think we played one of our best first sets ever and the punters loved it dancing and cheering long into the night. Thanks to all concerned (cant wait for next year!!)

We have also nailed Hope Street by the Levellers. And this will be ready to play at our next couple of gigs:
