soz its late, but just a short one about boxing day at the new inn

WOW!

you probably know , but we had to cancel last years due to sam having to undergo a last minute body transplant

.

so we weren't sure how it would go as his twelve month warranty was up, but after a band huddle we decided to go for the usual erics solution to possible problems........

......... we all got bolloxed and had a great night, with peeps turning up from australia, dubai and even beeston!

great night, plus it was nice to get good comments from other bands about sound n songs

. cheers to all who came down to the roscoe on fri night for our big christmas bash

everyone seemed up for it, and we ended up with one of the loudest nights i can remember

(due to the pub layout the pa is right in front of the bar)

SORRY

we would like to apologise to anyone who turned up to the cross keys gig on sat and especially to howard and lynne as we had to cancel the gig at short notice due to illness

.

i think that the people who know the band will know that we would only cancel a gig as a last resort

.

sorry again

.

but as far as the rest of the xmas gigs go, all is fine

.

we have undertaken a full on fitness regime to see us into the new year and beyond

.

first up will be jogging (just observing to start with)

.

we did look into weightlifting but it all looked a bit sweaty and herniated

,

so we decided to go for the lads training by only drinking pint cans (the extra weight will burn off an average of six and a half calories per can)

.

and insisting on scew off lids on the bottles as opposed to getting the missus to pop off the top before she brings it to the chair in front of the TV

.

and after a lot of thought and consultation with experts we have found the main exercise that all the band have in common

(NOT THAT ONE!)

so we have all traded our up to date micro remote controls in

.

and replaced them with the old eighties models that were the size of a house brick and ran on two car batteries, to help improve our dexterity and upper body strength

.

add this to the fact that BSD is cutting down to five curries a week

.

and you can rest assured that the erics are gunna be back on form before you can say chicken tikka massalla

.
