. sunday early evening saw the erics clan decend on The Three Horseshoes headingley

judging by the crowd half an hour before we went on, we were expecting a quiet night

NO CHANCE!!

even though we had played the night before and most of us (crowd included) had overdone it on the beer/curry/lack of sleep front, everyone was just up for a party

.

its great to play, but its awsome to have FUN playing

.

adding to the nights entertainment were the joint skills of miss dianne who showed paul how its done on the drums in teenage kicks

.

and mr bassman fin who stood in, well he actually sat down

.

.

on buzzcocks classic ever fallen in love due to the fact that BSD was overcome with emotion

.

well, it was either emotion or the decision to mix turps AND meths

.

thats right, after our goodbye gig to landlord alwin last month he has been asked to stay on a bit longer

and we're glad he has as we would'nt have played last nights gig otherwise

there are a few special guests priomised for the weekends gigs, plus a few tunes that you may not have heard in a while

so get your dancing shoes on as its also the last time you get to see us for a bit as we have got four weeks off before our next gig

the international and local music scenes both lost peeps this week in the form of Danny Federici, a guy sam and paul have seen live a many times as organ/keybord player in springsteens E street band

and also shame the devil bassist Eddie Wah passed away 20/04/2008

a really popular guy on the local scene who, judging by the amount of comments on ROCK OF THE NORTH and similar sites, will be missed by heck of a lot of peeps
