friday saw us play our FIRST gig of the year at the NEW ROSCOE LEEDS

.

and we bloody loved every second of it

.

it was great to see so many peeps out enjoying themselves, from the erics girlies to most of pauls family (including a disturbed fan!) and everyone else in between

.

it was also great to see *"^ of %$^&*$£ /*&^%*$% getting absolutely bolloxed, and jay (the sexy one who left STYCKLEBACK ) with his fan club

,

we will play 'girl all the bad guys ' next time chuk

.

so thats it for a couple of weeks when we'll be back in action at the carriers morley on sat 14th june which should be entertaining as it's local for both LSD and sam so they'll both be ratted

LIFES A BEACH

tues saw us back at TOMMY's BAR (NEW INN WALTON) for a beach party night and tommy had gone all out with the decor, shirts and inflatables

and the smaller than normal crowd did their bit too, with judy, di and tracey adding to the tropical glamour with a range of inflatable parrots coconuts and a seven foot shark

there were peeps from local bands COAST (hope you enjoyed the osmonds dave), SHIELD OF STEEL and GRUMPY OLD MEN out for a beer and a boogie

special thanks to the locals who came out in their summer shirts and shorts, especially the three nutters at the front who shouted and danced along all night

its always a belter down here, great big room and stage means everyone can see and hear no probs

plus the bars open til midnight

we will also be mixing the set up a bit, with a few we aint played for a while making a comeback

last night saw just over half of the erics venture out into the wilds of morley to catch jays last gig with STYCKLEBACK

and it was a belter, a rammed house shouting and dancing away til the wee small hours

.

a great send off for a great guy, hope to see him back behind his geeetar soon

BSD, LSD, crush and the lads got into the mood by drinking far too much as seen in the pics below

cos thats just what BSD did on tues night when he called over to TOMMY's BAR (NEW INN WALTON) to drop some posters off and catch blues outfit the roosters in action, there were a few in and the lads went down really well

and whilst the lads are sorting out their loud shorts, chest wigs, summer string vests and flop flips for the first annual ( to occur each year on a yearly basis ) beach party extravaganza at TOMMY's BAR on tues 27th may, the turtle himself has been busy on ebay, buying all sorts of gear to make sure the night will be one to remember

it promises to be a HOT one in more ways than one as we are all ready to get out and kick some well rounded and rather splendidly tanned butt

tonight sees Broken Angel at the arkle morley, good to see the pub getting bands back on after a long absence as it used to be a regular back in the old four millions days

also tonight are the King Bz at the thornhill arms staningley, a realy freindly little boozer run by steve (founder of Pudsey Cobras MCC) , i know you'll be reading this ste and i will try and sort a gig

the gig is in aid of the yorkshire air ambulance

sat sees erics buds Styckleback play at maguires leeds, morleys own Twist of Fate play to their home crowd at the cross keys and top band The Carnival (heard a lot about, but never seen) will be up at the thornhill arms staningley for another night in aid of the yorkshire air ambulance

.

sun has AFTER DARK back at The Three Horseshoes headingley, good boozer, cheap beer, on at 8pm

.

so in the words of the spotty little 'erberts from sheffield 'get on yer dancing shoes' and support the local pubs before they all shut down

so they're now officially part of the erics family

all of the erics lads and hopefully a load of our lot are gunna get up to the miners morley on fri 16th may for jays last gig with STYCKLEBACK , a band that have been in the erics family ever since they started 64 years ago in the mens changing rooms of tesco's in huddersfield

.

its gunna be a belter of a night, with the beer and the tears flowing a plenty, so get your arses over

.

best of luck to paul who is still suffering from a knackered knee and missed the last few gigs, the landlords did comment that their takings were down on what they usually take when the bells are all out in force
